Micheal Poneys scored a pair of goals and Cristian Mata added one tally, as The Tulsa Revolution played to a 3-3 draw with the Dallas Sidekicks, Friday afternoon at SoccerCity. The game was a Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) preseason match.
Scoring for Dallas were; Gustavo Piedra, Renato Perrera, and Jaime Lovegrove. The Lovegrove goal came on a penalty kick in the fourth quarter.
Dallas took a 3-1 lead in the fourth quarter, but Tulsa battled back with two goals late in the fourth to tie the game. It was Poneys second goal of the game that brought the two teams even.
The same two teams will square off in another preseason game, in Dallas, Friday, Oct. 17 at 7:05 p.m.
Tulsa will then host the Mexican National Indoor Soccer team in an exhibition game, Oct. 25, 7:05 p.m., at the Cox Business Center.
The Revolution open the regular season home schedule against Oxford City F.C., Nov. 14 at 7:05 p.m.
