Revolution Fall To Storm, Rematch on Saturday in Texas

June 10, 2013 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Texas Revolution News Release

The Texas Revolution were unable to pull off the upset and end the Sioux Falls Storm's home win streak. The reigning back-to-back IFL champions have now won an astounding 32 games in a row at the Sioux Falls Arena after defeating the Revs 59-16.

The Storm took a big lead from the beginning and found themselves on top 28-3 at the half. A major key to their success was Quarterback Terrance Bryant. The Sioux Falls signal caller finished the game 11-15, 124 yards, and 2 TDs. Martevious Young also threw 3-5 for 19 yards, and rushed for 4 touchdowns and 43 yards.

A.J. Nicholson had a big Red Zone fumble recovery against the Storm offense, which he returned for 38 yards. The Revolution defense was led by Nicholson and Frankie Solomon Jr. who both finished the night with 8 tackles. Anthony Kelly added 7 tackles.

The Revolution will have a chance at redemption as they host this Sioux Falls team next Saturday in Allen. This will be the final regular season home game in the 2013 IFL season for the Revolution and tickets are still available.
