Sacramento Republic FC News Release

This Saturday, September 25th, Republic FC's Health and Wellness program will return for the second time this season. The free workout program will expand its reach into local neighborhoods, beginning with this weekend's session at the recently refurbished Carillo Courts at Northgate Park. Last year, Republic FC worked hand in hand with City leadership to replace and rebuild futsal courts for the community to use, and honor the legacy of local coach, Art Carillo.

From 9-11 a.m., Bryan Washington, assisted by The Academy Training & Performance center staff, will lead various free workout stations at the courts. Last month, over 150 participants joined the crew from The Academy for a stadium wide workout, including boxing, medicine balls, soccer agility, spin, and stadium stair sets.

The first 75 attendees will receive two free tickets to an upcoming Republic FC match.

To support community health and wellness, Sacramento County Public Health office will join Republic FC Fit to provide walkup COVID-19 vaccines - first, second, or additional dose for moderately to severely immunocompromised people.

No registration is required. The event is completely free and workouts are open to all age groups and ability levels.
