
Renegades win big against Beach Hawgs

ROME, Ga. - The Rome Renegades win BIG tonight against the Daytona Beach Hawgs with a final score of 74 to 18. Perry Tisdale led the Renegades offense with four touchdowns and 49 yards rushing. Gerald Gales had 110 yards receiving with two touchdowns, and Bo Bartik was nine for thirteen with two touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, Rome was just as tough. Jason Colts had seven solo tackles with two assists, and Lew Thomas had a 35 yard. interception return for a Renegades touchdown in the fourth quarter. Brian Tracey also had a super kicking game tonight. He was eight for ten in PAT's
With this impressive win, the Renegades finish out the regular season of the inaugural year with a seven and seven record. The eighteenth and final week of football action for the NIFL continues through July 3, while Rome has a week off.
