Rome Renegades News Release

Rome, Ga. - The Rome Renegades would like to introduce Offensive/Defensive Lineman Leon Moore. Moore, 6-3, 330 pounds, played football at Appalachian State University and graduated with a degree in Information Systems and a minor in Communication. During the 2005, Moore played with the Daytona Beach Hawgs where he had a solid season that included four sacks and four forced fumbles. When playing against the Renegades, we realized that he would be a vital part to our team. In college, Moore was an all Southern Conference performer.

When asked about living in Rome, Moore, from Winston-Salem, NC, said "It is pretty cool. It's a small town, but very likeable." Moore loves the opportunity he has for being a Renegade. He said, "It is 100 times better than last year. They have a good coaching staff that takes care of us." For the upcoming season, Moore's personal goals include making the All-Star team and to get a look for the next level, whether it be the NFL or AFL. His team goal is to win the Championship. When asked if he could be anybody in the world, who would it be he said, "I am happy being myself."
