Renegades sign three players for upcoming season

ROME, Ga. - In preparation for the 2006 American Indoor Football League season, the Rome Renegades announce the signings of OL/DL John Bowman and OL/DL Reggie Poole. The Renegades have also re-signed OL/DL Courtney Stanley.

Bowman, 6-3, 265 pounds, comes to the Renegades after spending the 2005 NIFL season with the Daytona Beach Hawgs, where he was second in the league in sacks with twelve and third in the league in tackles for loss with 18. Bowman is from Rockingham, NC and played his college ball at Wingate University.

Poole, 6-3, 330 pounds, joins the Rome Renegades after playing 2005 season with the Green Bay Blizzard of AF2. Poole has played at North Carolina State and Jacksonville State and has also had try-outs with the Tennessee Titans and NFL Europe. Reggie is from Cedartown, GA and went to Cedartown High School.

Stanley, 6-1, 260 pounds, returns for his second season with the Rome Renegades after playing in 15 games in 2005. Stanley played both defense end and offensive tackle for the Renegades and had 31.5 tackles including two sacks. Stanley is from Cartersville, GA and graduated from Cartersville High School.
