Renegades sign Charles Jones

ROME, Ga. - The Rome Renegades have signed DB Charles Jones for the 2006 American Indoor Football League season. Jones was a three year letterman at the University of Alabama, where he started 36 games, had 169 total tackles, and six interceptions two of which where returned for touchdowns. His biggest game came in 2003 against the University of Georgia where he had two interceptions and one run back for a touchdown. Jones is originally from Waynesboro, GA where he played at Burke County High School.
