
Renegades sign Canadian offensive lineman Mike Homewood

KEMPTVILLE â The Ottawa Renegades Football Club added non-import offensive lineman Mike Homewood to the training camp roster. The veteran reported Monday afternoon, passed a physical and practiced for the first time on Tuesday.
Homewood, who played three games last season â including the last two, has been with the Renegades on and off since hthe club's inaugural 2002 campaign. The 30-year-old, who played his university football at both Carleton and University of Ottawa, brings size and professional experience to the Renegades. The Toronto native also spent time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts.
The Renegades will continue training camp this week with two-a-day practice sessions at Kemptville College (note practice changes: 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. starts).

FIELD LOCATION: The Renegades practice on the fields located at the southwest corner of the campus, south of Parish Hall and the W.B. George Centre. Spectators are welcome to attend. In case of inclement weather, closed practices (closed to the public) will be held inside the gymnasium at the W.B. George Centre.
