
Renegades Cross Country travel to Indoor Bowl V begins

ROME, Ga. - The Rome Renegades will begin their cross country travel for Indoor Bowl V tomorrow, Thursday, July 28. Their trip involves a rigorous travel schedule and special events to honor the season's accomplishments. The Renegades will fly out of Atlanta on an afternoon flight with a stop in Houston and then on to Seattle, Washington. The team will arrive in Seattle at 8:15 PDT/ 11:15 EDT and then bus from Seattle to Kennewick. The road trip will cover over 215 miles in Washington. After some good rest, the Renegades will have practice in Kennewick at 3 p.m. followed by a team photo for championship promotional and media opportunities. The evening will conclude with a banquet at the Kennewick Convention Center to honor the players, coaches, and owners of both championship teams. All of Saturday's time and energy will be focused on the 7:05 PDT championship kick-off. The league will also be hosting a post-game party at the Convention Center to celebrate the championship.
Sunday morning the Renegades will begin their departure, which is just as rigorous. Again the team will bus back to Seattle to catch various flights over the next three days. The last Rome group will leave Seattle after midnight on Monday, August 1.
