Renegades announce logo, website, first tryouts

Raleigh/Durham, NC. The ABA's new 2005 expansion team, the North Carolina Renegades, announce their team logo, official website and first open tryout dates. The Renegades are excited to unveil their team logo - a marvelous collaboration of silver and purple stamped atop the official ABA basketball. "The logo will undoubtedly become a familiar icon," stated Erik Joseph, Director of Media Relations for the Renegades.
The logo and all Renegades apparel can be seen at the official website for the North Carolina Renegades: www.maxbasketball.com - where professional basketball is taken to the MAX. The Renegades are also pleased to officially announce their first open tryout to all those interested in playing professional basketball in the ABA. This tryout will be held over the weekend of May 14, 15 at Garner Road YMCA in Raleigh.
Finally, the Renegades management has been working with the North Carolina State Fair in order to utilize the Dorton Arena for their home court. With seating for over 5000 fans, and its rich basketball history, the Dorton Arena is a perfect fit for the Renegades," Joseph stated.
