LITTLE ROCK, Ark., October 3- The Arkansas RimRockers announce Kareem Reid has signed a one year contract with the NBA Development League to return to the Arkansas RimRockers' roster for the 2005 training camp. The RimRockers camp begins November 5, immediately after the D-league draft on November 3.
"We are very happy to have Kareem back in the RimRockers family," Head Coach Joe Harge said. "He has experience playing in the D-League and has great on court chemistry with our team, not to mention his phenomenal success at the University of Arkansas."
Reid was last season's MVP for the ABA championship game held in Alltel Arena. Reid also finished his four-year colligate career as the all-time leader in assists in Razorbacks' history. He has played for teams in the CBA, USBL, IBL, The Harlem Globetrotters and for the Ashville Altitude of the D-League in 2002.
"It's an honor to rejoin the Arkansas RimRockers," Reid said. "The fans in Arkansas are the best fans in the world. Arkansas is becoming my home. I'm here to help bring home another championship for the RimRockers, and I'm ready to get this season started."
