June 9, 2005 - United Indoor Football Association (UIF)
Fort Wayne Freedom News Release
The UIF announced that Freedom veteran Adrian Reese was named Special Teams Player of the week. Against Omaha last week, Reese was back in his familiar role of kick off returns and he did not disappoint the Freedom fans. He returned five kicks for 121 yards. Reese's longest return was for 47 yards. On the evening he had a total of 134 yards.
The Freedom is 10-0 and is looking to remain unbeaten as they are headed to Omaha this weekend in a re-match against the Beef. Kick off is set for 7:05PM and Freedom fans can listen to the game on 1250AM. Fans wishing to be a part of a send-off rally, are invited to the western parking lot at the Coliseum just off of Parnell Avenue across from Casa and Ruby Tuesday. Fans are reminded to dress in red, white and blue and bring the same attitude they have at Freedom games. The team is scheduled to leave from Memorial Coliseum at 10am sharp on Friday.
