Charlotte County Redfish News Release
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL - Though all the recent rain may seem dreary to some, it has been a welcome respite to the Charlotte County Redfish. The firework ban has finally been lifted, and there will be fireworks at both the games on Tuesday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 4.
"The July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza will be something that no one in Charlotte County will want to miss!" said Redfish Assistant General Manager Bob Ford. "We've missed three scheduled fireworks shows this season due to the lack of rain, and we're planning on making July 3rd and 4th something that our fans will remember for a long time."
July 2 will also be an eventful night at the Charlotte County Sports Park. Monday night is Golf Night, and there will be a golf towel giveaway sponsored by Florida Community Bank.
Fans can always play BINGO with the Redfish on Mondays. BINGO is based on events that take place during the game, and there is a prize for anyone who completes a card.
Ladies' Night is Tuesday, July 3. All women will receive discounted tickets to the game, and there will be an on-field competition to win a date with one of the Redfish players and a chance to win a "Girl's Night Out" in one of the Redfish suites.
Women's Lifestyle Magazine is sponsoring the Redfish Ladies' Night. Representatives from Women's Lifestyle Magazine will hold a business card drawing at the game for an ad in the magazine and a subscription to the magazine.
"Women's Lifestyle is very excited to be a part of Redfish Ladies' Night," said Diana Donlon, publisher of Women's Lifestyle Magazine. "We're excited to be honoring women at the ballpark."
Tuesday Nights are always "Two for Tuesday" at the Redfish games. Tickets and hot dogs are two for the price of one. If the Redfish don't win on Wednesday nights, everyone in attendance receives a ticket to another Redfish game.
The Redfish will be playing the Bradenton Juice Monday through Wednesday, July 2 through July 4 in another installment of the Sunshine State Rivalry Series, presented by Fairchild Roofing. Come out and support your Redfish in this series and celebrate our Independence Day at the ballpark. For more information check out www.redfishbaseball.com.
