Rochester, NY - The Rochester Red Wings return to Frontier Field Wednesday night to kick-off the start of summer with a two-game series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Yankees Triple-A affiliate.

Be sure to catch the red-hot Wings now, as after Thursday they hit the road for a 10-game trip, and won't return to the Flower City until Monday, July 1.

Tickets for all upcoming games are still available and can be purchased at the Red Wings ticket office, over the phone at (585) 423-WING (9464) or online at RedWingsBaseball.com.

Riding a four-game home winning streak, the Red Wings mini-series gets started with a Democrat and Chronicle Wings Wednesday. Be sure to check out Tuesday's Democrat and Chronicle for a coupon to receive a $2.00 discount on Wednesday's tickets.

Thursday's 7:05 p.m. series finale is highlighted by a special post-game fireworks show presented by Warm 101.3 as part of the Wings' "Summer is Here Celebration" that also features summer time prizes that will be given out throughout the night. Thursday is also Teacher Appreciation Night at the ballpark. Any teacher presenting their NYSUT I.D. card at the box office will receive $1.00 off their ticket price.

Fans can also enjoy fantastic nightly food specials at the Frontier Field concession stands and get an autograph from their favorite Red Wings player prior to every home game courtesy of the Hillside Family of Agencies.
