Valley Blue Sox News Release
HOLYOKE, MA- Tomorrow, Saturday, June 21, Blue Sox fans in attendance of the team's doubleheader against the Vermont Mountaineers will be joined by three special guests: the 2004, 2007, and 2013 Boston Red Sox World Series Trophies.
The trophies, which will be at Mackenzie Stadium from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will be available for fans to see and take pictures with. There will be no additional cost for taking a picture with the trophies.
"Bringing in the World Series Trophies is something we feel our fans will enjoy," said General Manager Hunter Golden. "Those trophies are ultimately what our players are striving to win, and they mean a lot to everyone who is a baseball fan."
The doubleheader will feature two seven-inning games, per NECBL rules; the first of the two will be a make-up of the June 5 game which was rained out. One ticket is good for both games, and great seats are still available by visiting www.valley-blue-sox.ticketleap.com .
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. for the 5:35 p.m. start of game one.
