
Recio Scores In Outlaws Win Over Privateers

WILLIAMSPORT, PA: It took Tim Recio 24 games, but it was time well spent as he found the twine for his first goal of the season at the 2:45 mark of the third period of the Outlaws 5-2 win over the 1000 Island Privateers Thursday night.
The Outlaws jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal from Trevor Karasiewicz (5) at the 6:15 from Nathan Oke and Matt Smyth.
Rob Sich would (27) make it 2-0 in the first with his 9th power play goal of the season from Brett Needham and Chris LeVeille. Needham and Sich extended their team high point streaks to 10 games on the play. LeVeille extended his point streak to nine games.
Matt Smyth ended his goal drought to start the scoring in the second period with his goal at the 5:58 mark from Karasiewicz and Martin Moucha to make it 3-0.
Sich (28) would add his 10th power play goal of the season to make it 4-0 Outlaws at the 12:46 mark of second period. Assists coming from LeVeille and Oke.
Recio's goal would be the lone Outlaws goal of the third period, coming from Van Den Beld and Mike DiLorenzo, who picked up his first point of the season on the play.
DiLorenzo made 48 saves on 50 shots faced while picking up his first win of the season.
The Outlaws will travel to Dayton,Ohio tomorrow, as they start a 3 games in 3 days road trip.
