Rebels to Host Final Tryout

RALEIGH NC - The Raleigh Rebels of the American Indoor Football League have announced their final tryout before camp opens on February 7. The Tryout will be held Sunday January 29th, at "The Factory", which is located at 1839 South Main Street, Suite 200, in Wake Forest. Head Coach Steven G. Folmar and his staff will be in attendance trying to find athletes to finalize the 2006 team.

The tryout for position players will begin with registration in the Factory concourse at 7:30am. Testing to include the 40-yard dash, broad jump, pro shuttle and drills will begin at 8am. At approximately 11am, kicking tryouts will be held at Wake Forest/ Rolesville Middle School, located directly across the street from the Factory. Players who show talent will be asked to stay for a closed workout at the middle school from 1pm to 4pm. Players are asked to bring both indoor as well as outdoor shoes (cleats) and workout clothing. The entry fee is $50, payable in cash or postal money order only and a workout shirt will be provided. The Rebels are also looking for assorted positions to be filled for the 2006 season including volunteer assistant coaches, athletic trainer, equipment manager and operations interns in the fields of athletics, football operations, game day staff, administration and dance.
