Rebels Looking for A Few Good Men

Raleigh Rebels News Release


The Raleigh Rebels of the American Indoor Football League have announced their first tryout to be held November 13, at "The Factory", which is located at 1839 South Main Street, Suite 200, in Wake Forest. Coach Folmar and his staff will be in attendance trying to find athletes to build the 2006 team around.

The tryout for all positions, with the exception of kicker, will begin with registration in the Factory concourse at 8am. Testing to include the 40-yard dash, bench press, high jump and other pro drills will begin at 9am. At approximately 11am, position drills will begin. Players are asked to bring indoor shoes and workout clothing. The entry fee is $50, payable in cash or postal money order only and a workout shirt will be provided. Kicking tryouts will be announced at a later date. For questions, you can contact the Raleigh Rebels at our website at www.raleighrebels.com. The rebels are constantly looking at prospects game film and those interested can send film to Coach Folmar at P.O. Box 9019, Wilson, NC 27895.

The Rebels are also looking for assorted positions to be filled before the 2006 season including volunteer assistant coaches, athletic trainer, equipment manager and football operations interns. If you are interested in becoming a Rebel, resumes can be faxed to the Rebels office at 252-206-5659.
