Rebels announce staff additions

Raleigh Rebels News Release
RALEIGH - NC The Raleigh Rebels, at their Thursday press conference, introduced the first members of the team's medical and coaching staffs. Rebel's Head Coach Steven G. Folmar also announced partnerships with Damon's Grill, Gold's Gym North Hills, Wakefield Medical Inc., as well as Coca-Cola Bottling Consolidated of Raleigh.
John Osika

Team Massage Therapist
John Osika is the owner/ operator of Body Basics Sports & Medical Massage in Wake Forest. He comes to the area from Buffalo, N.Y., where he attended the New York Institute of Massage in 2001. He is nationally certified in massage and licensed in both New York and North Carolina. With the Rebels, John will handle all coordination between the team itself and the team's medical staff. He will also be the team's message therapist.
He and his wife Heidi have been in North Carolina for two years and they have four children. He also lived here in the early 1990's when he was in the Marine Corps.

Ed Hall
Assistant Coach/
Strength and Conditioning
Ed hall joins the staff of the Rebel's as the Strength and
Conditioning Coach. He will also have on-field duties to be
named at a later date. Hall has vast experience in the area of strength training and body building having trained pro bodybuilders Mike Quinn, Venice Taylor (who would take 3rd in the Mr. Olympia competition), pro football players Mark Clayton and John Offerdahl of the Miami Dolphins, Zap and Storm from the television show American Gladiators and many others.
Ed also took his weight class repeatedly in the Mr. South Florida Body Building competition.
Hall now runs and owns his own successful business, Creative Ceilings by Home Solutions, which imports ceiling tiles and moldings. Ed's son Jason, is an offensive lineman for the Rebel's.
