Real Salt Lake News Release

Beckerman, Findley and Rimando Begin Three-week Stint at U.S. Men's National Team Camp

The preseason has started early for MF Kyle Beckerman, FW Robbie Findley, and GK Nick Rimando, as the Real Salt Lake trio joined 27 other players at U.S. Soccer's National Training Center at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., on Monday for the opening day of the U.S. Men's National Team's first training camp of a very important 2010 calendar year. The three-week camp, held under the direction of U.S. MNT head coach Bob Bradley, will culminate in the team's first friendly of the year on Saturday, Jan. 23, when the Red, White & Blue will take on fellow CONCACAF side and World Cup Final qualifier Honduras at The Home Depot Center (7:00 p.m. MT, live on Fox Soccer Channel and Galavision).

Per usual, the January gathering has a strong Major League Soccer flavor to it, as 25 of the 30 players in attendance currently ply their trade in the North American First Division. Of the 13 MLS teams represented at the SoCal-based camp, Chivas USA's four-member contingent ranks as the largest, followed by three players each from Real Salt Lake, Columbus, and FC Dallas. For daily updates on the camp in Carson, head on over to the MNT Blog at www.USSoccer.com.
