Real Salt Lake to Hold "Mother's Day Dash" at Saturday's Match v. FC Dallas

SALT LAKE CITY (Thursday, May 8, 2008) - In honor of Mother's Day this Sunday, Real Salt Lake has announced the club will give 100 moms in attendance at this Saturday's RSL v. FC Dallas match at Rice-Eccles Stadium (7:00 p.m. MT kick-off) the chance to win one of several prizes during its halftime "Mother's Day Dash" promotion.

Real Salt Lake has teamed up with 25 local sponsors to provide gifts for the contestants, who will race down the Rice-Eccles field to select random envelopes filled with gift certificates, which may be redeemed for various prizes following the dash. For entry into the "Mother's Day Dash", Real Salt Lake will select the first 100 moms that sign up at the KALL 700 Sports booth in the Carnival Real festival area prior to the match, which opens at 6:00 p.m. (one hour prior to kick-off). Prizes vary, but include iPod Nanos and Shuffles, day spa passes, lunch/dessert gift certificates, and much, much more.
