
Real Salt Lake Teaming With Burger King & KFC Restaurants To Bring MLS Cup To The Masses

SANDY, Utah (Monday, December 7, 2009) - Real Salt Lake is bringing the MLS Cup to the masses across the Salt Lake valley beginning this week, as Utah's MLS side and sponsorship partners Burger King and KFC Restaurants will present opportunities for fans to see the reward for earning Utah's first professional sports title in nearly 40 years up-close and in-person.
RSL representatives and mascot Leo the Lion will provide three opportunities for fans to take photos with the newly-designed Philip F. Anschutz Trophy - which was hoisted for the first time by Real Salt Lake following its MLS Cup 2009 victory on Nov. 22 - in Salt Lake City and Sandy, beginning with tomorrow's lunch-time appearance at Burger King's location at 1660 W. North Temple in Salt Lake City. The tour will continue at a pair of KFC locations next Wednesday, Dec. 16, in Salt Lake City (3890 S. State Street) and Sandy (10710 S. State Street).
