SANDY, Utah (Saturday, October 7, 2017) - Real Monarchs SLC have captured the 2017 USL Regular Season Championship due to Saturday night's USL results, the club ensuring the top overall seed and home-field advantage throughout the USL Cup Playoffs.
The Monarchs claimed its first-ever trophy in the club's three-year history before a crowd of 8,402 Saturday night, guiding the road through the USL Cup Playoffs via Sandy, Utah, and its world-class Rio Tinto Stadium home. Tickets for the Monarchs' inaugural postseason match go on sale to the general public WEDNESDAY at 12:00 noon MT, via the Rio Tinto Stadium box office and www.RSL.com/tickets.
