
Reading Royals To Unveil New Website on Monday, September 13

READING, PA - The Reading Royals and Pro Sports Media have joined forces to unveil the Royals new website. The Royals web address will remain the same at www.royalshockey.com and is set to be unveiled on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. The new site will feature up-to-the-minute roster and statistics during the 2004-05 season and additional ways for fans to interact with the Royals organization via the Internet. Fan polls, merchandise requests and accessing more information on ticket pages will be available, along with the latest breaking news on the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game and Skills competition presented by Coors Light.
Royals general manager Ray Delia said addressing the team's website was a major goal during the off season, "We have had discussions for months on our website and how to improve it. After an exhaustive process we arrived at Pro Sports Media. We feel our new site, like our affiliate in Manchester, will be one of the most informative and professional looking sites in our league."
Pro Sports Media, located in Concord, New Hampshire, specializes in hosting, design and maintenance for minor league sports teams. They are responsible for the design of ECHL member clubs in Charlotte, Las Vegas, Long Beach and San Diego. Plus, Pro Sports Media has recently redesigned websites for the American Hockey League's Lowell Lock Monsters and the Royals AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs.
The Reading Royals are entering their fourth season in Reading, Pennsylvania after relocating from Columbus, Ohio. The Royals enjoyed their first Kelly Cup playoff appearance last season, claiming the Northern Division Title and were one win away from qualifying for the Kelly Cup Finals.
The Sovereign Center is proud to be hosting its first American Hockey League game on Saturday, October 9.
