Reading Express News Release
Reading, Pa. (December 6, 2010) - The Reading Express have signed two local collegiate stars for the upcoming 2011 season. Sean Tetreault and Will Keylor come to the Express after stellar college careers during which they helped their alma mater, Lebanon Valley College, reach the postseason for the first time in over 50 years in 2009.
Tetreault (6' 3" 315 lbs) was a four year starter for the Dutchmen. Twice named as a captain, he anchored the offensive line from his left tackle spot. Tetreault was selected to the MAC All-Conference team three straight seasons, and was named to the first team in both his junior and senior years. The Hughesville, Pa., native was also selected second team All-American by DIII football.com.
Keylor (6' 2" 255 lbs) was also a four year contributor at Lebanon Valley. The Coatesville, Pa., native played as an inside linebacker in the Dutchmen's 3-4 defensive scheme. He was consistently among the team leaders in tackles, amassing an impressive 257 tackles in his career. Elected as a captain prior to his senior year, Keylor was also selected first team All MAC Conference in 2009.
"Sean and Will are two great athletes that have had very extensive and successful football careers up to this point," said Express Head Coach Chris Thompson. "Both of them are very young and inexperienced in the indoor game but come from a great coaching program at Lebanon Valley College. Our coaching staff was very impressed with their work ethic and we think they each fit the type of player we are looking for here in Reading. We are looking forward to both of them competing for starting jobs for the 2011 season."
Reading Express Indoor Professional Football began play in 2006 in the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa. In five seasons, the team has amassed an overall record of 64-20 with four playoff appearances, two conference titles and the 2009 AIFA National Championship. In 2011, Reading will begin play as a new member of the Indoor Football League.
