Reading Express Put Strength on Defensive Line

Reading, Pa. (October 12, 2011) -The Reading Express bolstered the defensive line with the signing of Mike London out of Bethune-Cookman University. The 6'3", 285 lb lineman from Bunnell, Fla., accumulated 55 tackles in 31 games played for Bethune-Cookman. He posted 6.5 tackles for losses, including three sacks and two quarterback hurries.

"Michael brings a great deal of athleticism and productivity to our defensive front," said Mark Steinmeyer, head coach of the Reading Express. "He can really play the run well and force quarterbacks to hurry their delivery. Mike will definitely compete for a starting roll in 2012."

The Reading Express are one of the most established franchises in indoor football. In six full seasons, the team has amassed an overall record of 73-27 with five division championships, two conference titles and the 2009 AIFA National Championship. In 2011, Reading began play as a new member of the Indoor Football League and captured the league's Atlantic Division title. The team plays on The Reading Hospital Medical Group Field at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa.
