RazorSharks to play at Newark Saturday

Rochester RazorSharks News Release


(Rochester, New York)... The Rochester RazorSharks regularly scheduled game at Newark on Saturday, March 3, which was originally postponed, has been reinstated by the American Basketball Association. The RazorSharks are confident that league requirements will be met for the game on Saturday. The Rochester-Newark game will tip-off at 7:05 p.m. The Rochester at Cape Cod game on Sunday, March 4 will tip-off at 6:00 p.m.

The remainder of the 2007 regular season schedule for the RazorSharks is as follows -

Saturday, March 3 at Newark Express 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, March 4 at Cape Cod Frenzy 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday, March 6 VERMONT FROST HEAVES 7:05 p.m.

Thursday, March 8 STRONG ISLAND SOUND 7:05 p.m.

Rochester RazorSharks (20-6) vs.

Newark Express (3-21)

THE MATCH-UP: The RazorSharks take to the road to visit the 3-21 Newark Express on Saturday night...the RazorSharks, coming off a 131-102 win over Maryland on February 22 to up their record to 20-6...Rochester is currently on a five-game win streak and have won eight of their last nine starts... Rochester leads the ABA - and possibly all of minor league basketball - in attendance by averaging 4,179 fans per game at The Blue Cross Arena

NEXT HOME GAME: After a visit to Cape Cod on Sunday, March 4 to play the Frenzy in their final regular season road game, Rochester returns home to host the #1 ranked Vermont Frost Heaves on Tuesday, March 6 at 7:05 p.m., and wrap up the regular season on Thursday, March 8 at The Blue Cross Arena against the Strong Island Sound at 7:05 p.m. .
