
RazorSharks Tickets For Tots a Success

(Rochester, NY)...The Rochester RazorSharks held a fundraiser for children in the Rochester area called "Tickets for Tots". Rochester residents were encouraged to donate children's clothing and non-perishable food items last night at the Blue Cross Arena. Fans were able to watch the 2009 Rochester RazorSharks practice on their home court at the Blue Cross Arena.
Over 200 articles and over 50 pounds of perishable goods were collected and those who donated items received 10 tickets to Saturday's 2009 Home Opener. All the items will be donated to the Salvation Army.
The RazorSharks open their 2009 home schedule Saturday, January 10th at the Blue Cross Arena against Thruway Rival, the Buffalo Stampede at 1:05pm. For tickets, go to the Blue Cross Arena Box Office or through Ticketmaster at 232-1900 or www.ticketmaster.com.
Included in the game will be the pre-game Championship Ceremony with the presentation of rings, banner raising, and appearances by Mayor Duffy, New York State Senator Jim Alesi, and New York State Senator Joe Robach.
