RazorSharks clinch East Division

Rochester RazorSharks News Release


(Chicago, IL)... The Rochester RazorSharks (15-2) have clinched the 2008 Regular Season East Division after victories during the Premier Basketball League's Triple "S" Super Scouting Showcase. By winning the East Division, the RazorSharks earned two byes and will host the East Division Championship game on Thursday, March 20th at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY. Rochester RazorSharks playoff ticket information will be made shortly. RazorSharks Season Ticket Holders will have the first right of refusal when playoff tickets go on sale.

Teams that are seeded 2-5 will play at the Attack Athletics Center in Chicago, IL for playoff games on March 18th and 19th. Each division's #2 seed will play #5 and #3 will play #4 on Tuesday, March 18th. The winners of those games will meet the next day, Wednesday, March 19th, also at the Attack Athletics Center. The 2008 Regular Season West Division Champions, Quad Cities Riverhawks, will host the West Division Championship game on March 20th at Wharton Field House in Moline, Illinois.

The PBL League Championship game will be held on Sunday, March 30th at a site to be determined. Game times for all playoff games are still to be determined.
