
Rays Pitcher, Alex Cobb to start for Charlotte Saturday

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Rays right-hander, Alex Cobb, will make a rehab start with the Charlotte Stone Crabs on Saturday, May 17th. Cobb has been on the disabled list since April 13th with a strained left oblique muscle. Before injured, Cobb started off the season with a 1.89 ERA.
The Stone Crabs continue the series against the Clearwater Threshers for Super Hero Night. All fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite super hero to receive a discounted ticket. The Stone Crabs are also hosting a post-game fireworks show presented by Cool Today. Gates will open at 5:00 pm with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 pm.
