
Rays "Meet and Greet" on June 21

PRINCETON, WV - The Princeton Rays will host a free Meet and Greet with players, coaches, and Roscoe the Rooster on Tuesday, June 21 at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. The event will be the first time fans have a chance to meet the 2016 Princeton Rays before they open their season on June 23 in Burlington.
Gates will open to the public at 4:45 p.m. and players will be available on the first base concourse to chat, take pictures, and sign autographs.
In addition to the Meet and Greet, the event serves as the first of five Kids Club meetings of the season. Club members are invited to a picnic at the ballpark beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The Meet and Greet will be followed by an open team practice beginning at 6:10 p.m. and lasting until about 8:30 p.m.
The Princeton Rays will return for their home opener against the Danville Braves on Sunday, June 26 at 5:00 p.m. at H.P. Hunnicutt Field.
Season and single game tickets will be available for purchase at the Meet and Greet. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone at (304) 487-2000 and in person in the stadium press box. H.P. Hunnicutt Field is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Rays have been the proud Appalachian League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays since 1997.
