Rays arrive today

The 2005 Princeton Devil Rays team will arrive in Princeton on June 17 and we invite you to "greet the arrivals" with a down home welcome as they arrive today.

Eight players (including returnees catcher Tommy Lagreid and outfielder Chris Cunningham) will arrive in Bluefield via air at 6:10pm and immediately will be transported to Hunnicutt Field for equipment issue, etc.

The balance of the team (including manager Jamie Nelson) will arrive in Charleston, WV via air at 8:35pm and will be bussed to Hunnicutt Field immediately following. We are looking for the bus to arrive somewhere in the 10:30pm-11:00 pm area.

**Saturday's practice will be approximately from 2pm-5pm

**Sunday will start with "Meet the Devil Rays" from 5:30pm to 6:00pm, when you may come on to the field and meet the players. Practice will start immediately at 6:00pm so please don't be late if you plan participate in the on-field meeting party at 5:30pm. Sunday practice will be approximately 6:00pm-9:00pm.

**Monday practice will begin at 6:00 pm and also go approximately three hours.

**Please do not forget that all of our road games are broadcast on WAEY 1490-AM and on the internet by going to www.star95.com and in a new feature, you may now e-mail questions (about our team and things you would like to know) to our play-by-play announcer Jarrod Talbott for him to investigate and possibly use as part of his on-air broadcasts.
