
Rays add Ryan McNeely from Fairbanks

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - As the trade deadline approaches the Corpus Christi IceRays have acquired Ryan McNeely from the Fairbanks IceDogs in exchange for a conditional 2013 draft pick.
With all the injuries that Corpus Christi is facing this deal was a must. "We are excited about acquiring Ryan," said head coach Justin Quenneville. "He will bring a lot of energy to the lineup and some much needed help at this time with so many injuries."
In 32 games this season with the West Division's IceDogs, McNeely has tallied two goals and nine assists along with just ten penalty minutes.
The Scottsdale, AZ native appeared in just one game with the New Mexico Mustangs last season while playing for the Pheonix Jr. Coyotes U18 where he picked up 16 goals and 20 assists in 40 games.
McNeely will join the IceRays before the squad heads to Topeka for a pair of games with the Roadrunners this Friday and Saturday night.
The IceRays are on the road this weekend as they take on the Topeka Roadrunners. Puck drops at 7:05PM, coverage begins at 6:50PM with the IceRays Pregame Show on 91.1FM, ustream.com, ksgr.org, and fasthockey.com.
