
Rattlers Dominate Second Half to Defeat Lizards, 18-12

ROCHESTER, NY -- The Long Island Lizards let a 7-4 halftime lead slip away, falling to the Rochester Rattlers, 18-12, at PAETEC Park on Saturday evening. Rochester held Long Island scoreless for nearly the entire fourth quarter, as they outscored the team 14-5 in the second half. Blake Miller led the Lizards with three goals, while three other players scored two goals apiece for the Lizards -- Austin Garrison, Stephen Berger and Tim Goettelmann. Keith Cromwell led the team in points, with a two-point goal and four assists.
John Grant was named Bud Light MVP for the Rattlers, scoring four goals and two assists. Seth Goldberg (4 goals, 1 assist) and Chris Unterstein (2 goals, 3 assists) were also impressive.
The Lizards (1-3) hope to rebound when they host the Philadelphia Barrage next Saturday, at 1:00 PM.
