The Rascals are excited to kick off the 2015 season as they partner with the City of O'Fallon for a preseason Pep Rally and Food Truck Frenzy Friday. This free event will start at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1st, and will be held at T.R. Hughes Ballpark. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the ballpark's concession stand and at various food trucks stationed throughout the ballpark that evening.
There are many great activities planned for the whole family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Face painters and balloon artists will put you in the Pep Rally mood as you are entertained by a stilt walker, a baseball juggler, and the local band "Sunset Amusement". The Rascals players will even be on hand to meet with fans and sign autographs. At 8:00 p.m., grab a seat to watch a special presentation of The Lego Movie as it is shown on a big screen set up in the outfield. The event will end at the conclusion of the movie, which is scheduled to be around 10:00 p.m.
The Rascals will also open the doors to their Team Store so that fans can get their first look at the new Rascals merchandise before the start of the season. Rascals tickets will be available for purchase throughout the event as well, be sure to stop by to secure your seats for an exciting 2015 season.
