Raptors Announce 2007 Season Tailgate Plans

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rock River Raptors of the United Indoor Football (UIF) league announced today, details for Raptor Park Tailgate. Raptor Park will be the official tailgate for Raptor fans and will take place before and after each home game.

Located in downtown Rockford on the north lawn of Davis Park, Raptor Park will provide not only Raptor ticket holders, but the surrounding community, an avenue for great entertainment and fun in a family-friendly setting. The pre-game tailgate kicks off at 4:00 p.m., breaks for the game and resumes 30 minutes before the final whistle at the end of the game.

All ticket holders get in free and season ticket holders gain access to the Bud Light V.I.P. Raptor Tent. Anyone who does not have a ticket to the game can gain admittance to Raptor Park for just $5. Those fans can then receive a discounted Raptors single-game ticket for that night.

After the game, the tailgate will be open to the public and anyone without a ticket or proof of prior entry will be required to pay the $5 admission fee. All children 12 and under, who are accompanied by an adult, get in free of charge.

"The pre-game tailgate will be a great place for fans and the community to join together to enjoy live music, food, drinks, the Dynomite Dancers and the presence of 104.9, the X," said Erik Greene, Asst. Sales and Marketing Manager for the Raptors. "The post-game tailgates will provide extra time for fans to mingle with players and coaches as they celebrate another great game."

Currently, both Pepsi and LaMonica Beverages have stepped up to help sponsor Raptor Park.

Due to extreme weather, tailgates may be cancelled.

Also, a reminder to fans, the Raptors Season Ticket Holder Party is being held on Sunday, March 18 from 6-8 p.m. inside the Clock Tower and CoCo Keys Resort. Season ticket holders will be able to pick up their tickets, as well as the rest of their VIP benefits.
