COLORADO RAPIDS CONTINUE 2012 PRESEASON: With one week of preseason already gone by, the Rapids head into week two of double sessions before taking their first trip of 2012 to California for a set of scrimmages against Chivas USA, San Jose Earthquakes, Ventura County Fusion and Cal Poly Pomona from February 5-11. The team leaves for California this Saturday.
LARENTOWICZ AND KANDJI JOIN GROUP IN DENVER: Head Coach Oscar Pareja continues to fine tune his roster with new additions. This week, Colorado welcomes back midfielder Jeff Larentowicz, who was with the U.S. Men's National Team for their annual January camp and earned his fourth and fifth caps against Venezuela and Panama, and forward Macoumba Kandji. The Rapids have also added trialist Draymond Washington, a defender out of George Mason University, and released trialists Daniel Navarro, Edrissa Jarra and Steve Cronin. PRESEASON MATCHES SCHEDULED: The Rapids have several preseason matches on the schedule, with scrimmages against Chivas USA and the San Jose Earthquakes set to help prepare for the Hawaiian Islands Invitational in late February. The team's schedule for scrimmages and exhibition matches is below:

LARENTOWICZ EARNS FIFTH CAP FOR U.S. MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM: Colorado Rapids midfielder Jeff Larentowicz earned his fifth cap with the U.S. Men's National Team on Wednesday, January 25 as a 67th minute substitute for Ricardo Clark in the 1-0 victory. On Saturday, January 21, Larentowicz started his first match for team USA, playing 62 minutes against Venezuela. For more information on the U.S. National Team, visit www.USsoccer.com.
