8.) RAPIDS QUOTE OF THE DAY
Today's Rapids Quote of the Day comes from Head Coach Tim Hankinson, following the 1-0 win against the MetroStars, giving the Rapids their 4th consecutive victory:
"It's confidence, confidence is everything. We saw our team play without confidence at the beginning of the year and not be successful in results. But obviously with that July 4th win in particular, we have to keep thanking those 60,000 who showed up for that night. I think that crowd is still running through our veins, and our guys are playing with a renewed spirit and belief and I think that our game management has improved. We're reading certain moments in the game to take advantage of, and when to cool the game down. I think that represents results."
