Rapids to Host 6th Annual World Cup of Wine and Beer on August 7

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Wednesday, June 12, 2013) - The Colorado Rapids and Kroenke Sports Charities announced today that the 6th annual World Cup of Wine and Beer charity tasting event will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The event will feature food and drinks from Rapids partners and area businesses, and will be attended by Rapids players, coaches, executives and staff.
The event, which will run from 6-9 p.m. on the concourse at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, will include beer, wine, spirits, and food tastings, as well as gaming tables, a silent auction and more.

The World Cup of Wine and Beer is one of several fundraising events put on annually by Kroenke Sports Charities, Proceeds benefit education, health and fitness programs in Colorado supported by Kroenke Sports Charities.
