Rapids Podcast: Drew Moor on the Long Road Back

For one week only (thankfully), the Rapids Podcast is in the hands exclusively of play-by-play announcer Richard Fleming, who brings us news from inside Dick's Sporting Goods Park at the end of another difficult few days.

Two games produced two defeats, and the loss to injury of three players, including skipper Drew Moor who is out for the remainder of the season. Moor speaks to Fleming about the injury, and vows to return stronger than ever.

History was made on Wednesday in the 4-3 home loss to LA Galaxy, with a 100th goal for Edson Buddle, and a first-ever MLS goal for rookie Marlon Hairston. Both talk of their achievement, though the over-riding sense is both would rather put team success ahead of personal glory as the Rapids slipped to a fifth straight loss.

'Numpty of the Week' continues in what is something of a one-man show, but normal service should resume in the next edition of the Rapids Podcast.
