
Rapids Conor Casey Called Into U.S. National Team Training Camp Beginning January 4

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Tuesday, December 22, 2009) - U.S. Men's National Team head coach Bob Bradley announced today that Colorado Rapids forward CONOR CASEY is among the 30 players named to the training camp roster that will begin workouts January 4 at the U.S. Soccer's National Training Center at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
The group will prepare for the USA's first match of 2010, a friendly against fellow FIFA World Cup finalists Honduras on January 23 at The Home Depot Center. The match will be broadcast live on Fox Soccer Channel and Galavision beginning at 7 p.m. MT. Fans can also follow the game live via ussoccer.com's MatchTracker.
Casey has 16 career caps with the National Team and scored his first two international goals in the U.S.'s 2010 World Cup qualifying win against Honduras on October 10 that clinched a trip to South Africa for the Americans.
