Rapids and Pete's Trattoria Form Catering Partnership

The Watertown Rapids along with Geoff Puccia from Pete's Trattoria have joined forces to create a new and exciting concessions experience for the 2019 baseball season. The Rapids will operate concessions at Alex T Duffy ballpark this year after taking over from Skewed Brewing, who ran food operations last season.
Pete's Trattoria will cater the group spaces in the ballpark including the new Pete's picnic area which will service small to large corporate groups.
"Baseball in Watertown was important to me growing up, said Puccia owner of Pete's Trattoria, in fact my first job at 15 years old was working in the concession stands for the Watertown Indians. To work with the Rapids this season and help be a part of the revitalization of the ball team is wonderful, there is a long running community tradition of baseball in this town and I want to be a part of it."
The new Pete's Picnic area located down the 3rd baseline, will offer food packages beginning at $20 which includes an all you can eat Burger and Hoffman hot dog bar with all the fixings. There will also be hand cut kettle chips, peanuts, popcorn and soft drinks as well as a game ticket are all included.
Also offered is a $24 BBQ package which includes pulled pork sandwiches along with sausage peppers and onions. Sides include corn on the cob, salt potatoes, watermelon, and soft drinks.
A Clam Bake package which is unique to baseball will also be offered in Pete's Picnic area and includes steamed little-neck clams, Cajun boiled shrimp, and sausage peppers and onions. Also included will be salt potatoes, corn on the cob and a cookie assortment.
The Rapids will offer the usual ballpark concessions favorites including Hoffman hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, and Pepsi products. The beverage bar stand will also be open this year featuring Coors light drafts plus Molson, Sam Adams Summer lager, Founders, and Twisted Tea in tall boy cans.
Throughout the season Geoff will also feature some signature items from Pete's Trattoria like meatball subs and chicken riggies.

The amazing reputation of the food at Pete's is well known throughout the Watertown area and now having the opportunity to offer the same food quality here at the ballpark is sure to be a hit."
Also new this season, the Rapids are also offering an All You Can Eat party deck area on the first base side which includes hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks and a game ticket. The cost is $18 for Adults and $15 for youth.
The Rapids' home opener will be on Saturday June 1st versus the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs at 7:15pm with post-game fireworks.
