Watertown Rapids News Release

Some returning Watertown Rapids players may be accompanying the new coaching staff as well.
The staff will be available for questions and interviews following opening statements.
The new look staff have great connections to baseball in the North Country. Of the announcement, general manager Nick Czerow said "We have been hoping to work with home grown talent and leadership more and we now have exactly who we have been searching for. I don't think we could find anyone who would be more committed to what the Rapids provide to the community than this group."
The Watertown Rapids are introducing more fun and activities this season during their games. Jay Matteson will return in a larger role as the Fan Experience Specialists. Matteson, entering his second year doing so, will engage the crowd with new games and experiences making a Rapids game the place to be during the summer.
The Rapids will also be announcing their season schedule soon for the 2022 PGCBL schedule. Watertown will play host to a larger variety of teams including the Capital City Reds based in Ottawa, ON, Canada.
Season Tickets and Group Bookings are on sale now through the front office at (315) 836-1545. For more information or interview requests with staff please reach out Nick Czerow at that number or rapidsnicholas@gmail.com.
