
Rangers Roll Over Otters

Kitchener, ON: Eight different players scored tonight for the Rangers enroute to an 8-1 win over the Erie Otters before a crowd of 5,955 at The Aud.
Phil Varone and Adam Zamec put the Rangers up 2-0 after the first period. Varone's goal was his first career OHL goal.
Josh Vatri put the Otters on the board with his 7th goal of the season at 3:43 while on the power play to cut the Rangers lead to 2-1. That was as close as the Otters would get as the Rangers scored the five goals to end the period. Victor Oreskovich (10), Nick Spaling (7), Brian Soso (5), Matt Pepe (1) and Peter Tsimikalis (1) all scored for the Rangers.
Kevin Henderson scored his 15th goal of the season for the only goal of the third period to round out the Rangers 8-1 win.
John Murray picked up his 19th win of the season to run his record to 19-3-0-1 and lowered his league leading GAA to 2.31.
Henderson led the team on offense with a goal and a pair of assists. Six other Rangers recorded two points each - Victor Oreskovich (1-1), Phil Varone (1-1), Peter Tsimikalis (1-1), Adam Zamec (1-1), Steve Tarasuk (0-2) and Nazem Kadri (0-2).
The Rangers next home game is Sunday, December 10th against the Kingston Frontenacs. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
