
Rangers And Spitfires Complete Multi-Player Deal

Kitchener Rangers Head Coach & General Manager Steve Spott announced today that the team has traded Defenseman Ben Shutron, Centre Scott Timmins and Goaltender Josh Unice to the Windsor Spitfires in exchange for Goaltender Brandon Maxwell, Forward Jacob Lalonde, as well as Kitchener's 3rd round pick in 2009, Sault Ste Marie's 2nd round pick in 2010, and Windsor's 2nd round pick in 2011. Maxwell, 17, is a Cambridge native and is currently playing with the US, U18 team in the NTDP in Ann Arbor Michigan and will complete his commitment at the end of the current season. Lalonde hails from Sudbury and is an overage forward that joined the Spitfires after spending three years with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
