Rangers 15th Annual Teddy Bear Game Tomorrow

The Kitchener Rangers and the community are preparing for Tuesday, December 8th when the Rangers face off against the Guelph Storm and host the 15th Annual Teddy Bear Charity Game. The game is presented by the local Zellers stores in support of Cystic Fibrosis and numerous other area charitable organizations.

Last year, a record number of teddy bears were collected and distributed to our community. Below is a listing of the Rangers player who scored the "teddy bear goal" each year.

Fans attending the game are asked to bring a new or good, used teddy bear to the game and immediately following the Rangers first goal, they throw their teddy bears onto the ice surface. The bears will then be turned over to local charitable organizations just in time for Christmas. If possible, please wrap bears in a clear plastic bag.

Teddy Bears will be Available for pickup on a first come first serve basis in the zamboni bay of The AUD beginning on Wednesday, December 9th @ 9 a.m. charitable groups are asked to simply show up at The Aud's zamboni bay to pick up Teddy bears.
