Rampage To Unveil 10th Anniversary Logo Tuesday

GRAND RAPIDS - With the Grand Rapids Rampage's 10th season drawing closer, West Michigan's Arena Football League team will unveil its 10th Anniversary Season commemorative logo Tuesday (Aug. 29) here at Van Andel Arena. Season ticket holders and media are invited to a special viewing from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. (EDT) before the logo is released to the general public.

Logo designers John Ferin, creative director for Justice and Monroe Advertising, and Chris Stewart, art director for J&M, will be on hand to explain their vision. Also appearing will be Sparky McEwen, head coach and director of football operations for the Rampage. Attendees will receive a special gift along with a light lunch.

Following the special viewing, the commemorative logo will be available to the general public at RampageFootball.com.

Rampage season ticket holders are encouraged to join Ferin, Stewart, Coach McEwen and members of the Rampage staff any time between 12 p.m.-1 p.m. at Van Andel Arena. Media interested in attending should contact Alex Clark at (616) 559-1871, ext. 3010 or via email at aclark@rampagefootball.com.

OTHER NOTES: Rampage quarterback Chad Salisbury (Perryopolis, Pa.) and offensive and special teams coach Michael Baker will visit youth football teams from the West Michigan Youth Football League this Saturday (Aug. 27) from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. at Farr Park in Fruitport, Mich. ... McEwen will assist coaches and teams from the Northern Rocket Football League Tuesday (Aug. 29) from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Big Rapids High School. A total of seven teams and 300 youth players ages seven to 14 will be present ... The Rampage Youth Football Program allows Rampage players and coaches to attend youth practices this fall, instructing and playing alongside West Michigan's next generation of athletes. Salisbury and the Rampage Rambler, the team's brand-wrapped 2007 Honda Ridgeline, have already visited the Grand Rapids Youth Athletic Organization's Northeast Raiders, Mulick Park Cougars and Burton Bulldogs.
