Grand Rapids Rampage News Release
The Grand Rapids Rampage of the Arena Football League announced today that Centennial Wireless has acquired the field naming rights at Van Andel Arena. For the next three years, the Grand Rapids Rampage will play their home games on Centennial Wireless Field at Van Andel Arena. Additionally, Centennial Wireless will be the title sponsor of the Rampage home opener which will be known as the "Centennial Wireless Kickoff Classic."
The three-year comprehensive partnership, which runs through the 2008 season, gives Centennial Wireless name recognition in multiple opportunities within the Rampage operations. As a primary sponsor, Centennial Wireless will receive exposure in numerous advertising elements that include sideline dasherboards, television and radio spots on Rampage broadcasts, program advertising, on-field and outside the arena promotions, and VIP and promotional season tickets.
"Without question, Centennial Wireless is a very important partner. Their three-year commitment to this organization and our fans positions them as a large corporate partner that is eager to make a huge impact on the greater West Michigan market. They've selected the Grand Rapids Rampage as a vehicle to help them make that impact and we appreciate their support and long-term commitment," said Bob Sack, Grand Rapids Rampage Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Following the press conference, the Rampage took the field for their first practice on Centennial Wireless Field at Van Andel Arena. They will host the Western Division champion Los Angeles Avengers this Saturday there in the Rampage's 2005 season finale.
