ROCKFORD, Ill. -- One popular fixture at Rockford Rampage home soccer games is the excitement generated from the Crash Dance Team.
The Rampage are offering a unique opportunity prior to the team's Jan. 30 game against La RaZa de Monterrey: How would you like to learn some dance moves from the professional dancers themselves?
The Crash Dance Team is holding a special clinic from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the MetroCentre. Interested participants will be divided into three age groups: 5-8, 9-12 and 13 and up. Check-in begins at noon.
The clinic includes a host of benefits. Each participant receives a ticket to the Rampage vs. La RaZa de Monterrey game later that evening (7:05 p.m. kickoff), a limited edition Crash Dance Team T-shirt, instruction from the Crash dancers, and the opportunity to perform at halftime with the dance team on the MetroCentre field turf.
The cost is only $30. The dance team clinic registration form is available at RockfordRampage.com and should be sent to Rockford Rampage Dance Clinic, 5411 E. State St., Suite 6, Rockford, IL 61108. The deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 22.
