Grand Rapids, MI - The ArenaBowl XV Champion Grand Rapids Rampage announced today that the defense of their title will begin against the Carolina Cobras at Van Andel Arena on Sunday, July 28 at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday's first round playoff game will be televised nationally on ESPN. It will be the third overall meeting between the two franchises and second this season. Grand Rapids (8-6) defeated Carolina (6-8), 64-45, on May 17 at the Sports & Entertainment Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Tickets for the Rampage's first playoff game can be purchased through Tickets PLUS outlets (222-4000 or 800-585-3737), at West Michigan Meijer locations, the Rampage web site and also at The Zone, located on the west side of Van Andel Arena. Ticket prices are the same as during the regular season - $10 (upper end zones, upper corners), $15 (upper sidelines), $18 (lower end zones, lower corners), $28 (lower sidelines), $45 (2nd & 3rd rows) and $70 (1st row).
